One of the choices to use to rid the marijuana leaf of insects is an alcohol based spray, rather than a commercial spray that contains poison, since parts of this plant will be smoked. This is a homemade spray that is made with three main ingredients and sprayed onto the marijuana leaves twice a week when needed to rid the cannabis crop of insects.
To make this insecticide use:
½ cup of alcohol
Between 2 and 3 tablespoons of dry laundry soap
One quart of warm water
This insect solution is made just prior to using it, so after mixing the three ingredients it can should be used on the marijuana leaves, while the water is still warm for it to work effectively.
This is a safe type of solution to use on the marijuana plants and will not affect the taste when smoking the pot like some commercial insecticides containing poison can
